Our staff has been providing dental services to families like yours for almost twenty years in the Slinger area. Our friendly and caring professional dental team shares a commitment to excellence. Dr. Timothy Hartley
I am a 1983 graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry. I am an active member of several professional organizations including the Washington-Ozaukee County Dental Society (past president; member of peer review board), and the Wisconsin and American Dental Associations.

Innovative and technical changes are constantly shaping the practice of dentistry, and I believe that it is important to keep pace with those changes through continuing education. I regularly attend courses and study groups to insure that you are offered the best dentistry available today.

Since our office's inception, I have always believed that personalized care in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere is the hallmark of a quality family practice. It is with great pride that I say that I consider many of my patients and staff members to be friends. Developing quality relationships with our patients is what sets our practice apart from others. These relationships with both staff and patients have given me a sense of fulfillment throughout my career.

When not at the office, I enjoy golf (despite my high handicap), gardening, reading and wood-working. I have two sons, Jake and Jordan, and live on a small farm with my wife, Kimberly.
   
   
Dr. Craig Smestad
I am a 1987 graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI. Since receiving my doctorate, I have completed approximately 1500 hours of continuing education in the disciplines of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Periodontics, Surgical Endodontics and Oral Implantology. Since 1990, I have limited my practice to surgical dentistry. Certifications include conscious sedation for dental procedures, as well as cardiac life support. I am married, and reside with my wife, Margaret, in Princeton, WI.
   
   

Dr. Michael Bartelt
I am a 1976 graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry and a native of Wisconsin. I served over 24 years in the U.S. Army Dental Corps including 10 years overseas. While in the service, I completed two years of advanced training in General Dentistry.

I am a diplomat of the American Board of General Dentistry and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, as well as a member of the Wisconsin and American Dental Associations. For many years, a large part of my practice has been endodontic treatment and I have completed many hours of continuing education in this area. I am excited to join the staff of Hartley Family Dentistry and provide this service to our patients.

I live in Wauwatosa with my wife Son Hyo and our son, Christopher. When not busy with Christopher's activities, we enjoy traveling, biking and good restaurants.
